Central Air Start Up
As I was very disappointed in the company that installed my central air unit , I did not want to call them back to check the unit for summer start up. My friend suggested I call Varsity. When Craig came to the house, he immediately started explaining what the check up involved. He also checked one of the vents with a low air flow and he advised me of how that could be corrected. He wore "booties" while he was in the house, and was extremely careful when up in the attic. He also showed me where the filter is for my unit, and even wrote down the size and merv rating for the filter, so I could order the right filter for my unit. I loved that he explained to me all the tests he was running and what my settings should be, He also provided me with information regarding additional purifiers I could purchase if I was interested, He was considerate and respectful of both my house and me. I am very appreciative of all the information Craig provided to me regarding my specific unit and the maintenance and safety checks of that unit, I am so happy my friend suggested I use Varsity. Prompt, Professional & Courteous
Artie and Jake were excellent, professional and thorough in their work. Jake replaced a total of 4 water flow valves under the bathroom sink and two toilets. The spaces were tight but the work was done cleanly and expertly. Additionally , a critical section of 1 inch pipe in the basement that was the main source of water from the street had started to corrode. I recently was told by my oil burner guy that if that pipe blew, my basement would be filled with water in minutes……not a good scenario!! So that was taken care of by Artie, along with an additional shutoff valve that was installed right at the source to prevent any future disasters. …… Now I can sleep at night! Thank you!!!!
