That’s why we recently stepped away from our usual weekend routines for a team outing with Captree Island Spirit! It was a chance for our team to enjoy time together, strengthen connections, and create memories outside of the workplace.
Bringing Our Office and Field Teams Together
At Varsity, our days can look very different depending on the role. Our office team keeps things running behind the scenes, coordinating schedules, helping customers, and supporting daily operations. Meanwhile, our technicians spend their days out in the field, helping homeowners with their plumbing, heating, and air conditioning needs throughout Long Island.
Although we work toward the same goals every day, our busy schedules don't always give everyone the opportunity to spend time together.
Our outing gave both teams the chance to connect beyond their usual responsibilities. From sharing laughs to enjoying the experience together, everyone had an opportunity to get to know one another a little better.
These moments matter. When our team members build stronger relationships, it helps create a more connected workplace where communication, collaboration, and mutual support can thrive.
